Ipoh, Malaysia – 24 July 2025 – ESnet Academy is proud to announce the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Guangxi Vocational & Technical Institute of Industry (GTI), China, marking a significant milestone in advancing international collaboration in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Electric Vehicle (EV) education.

As part of this partnership, GTI will offer ESnet Academy students valuable opportunities to broaden their knowledge and skills in the EV field through academic exchanges, specialized training programs, and hands-on learning sessions. The collaboration will also open pathways for joint curriculum development, research projects, and future EV-focused programs aimed at preparing students for the fast-evolving global automotive industry.

The MoU sets the stage for a series of upcoming student exchange and EV training programs, with the first intake scheduled to begin in November 2025. These programs are designed with a clear purpose – to enhance technical expertise, encourage cross-cultural learning, and develop future-ready graduates capable of contributing to Malaysia’s and the region’s growing EV ecosystem.

The landmark signing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including:

Mr. Sam Chang, Founder of ESnet Academy

YB Ong Boon Piow, State Assemblyman for Bercham

Mr. Aldrin Ng, Director of PASAK Perak

Mr. Tan Guanhui, Vice President of Guangxi Vocational & Technical Institute of Industry

Honourable Deans and Faculty Leaders from Guangxi Vocational & Technical Institute of Industry

Mr. Jeffrey and Tn Hj. Rozmi, representatives of strategic partner Supreme Didactic

Ms. Qin Qixiu, Deputy Director of Wuhan Zhongbu Foreign Economic and Technical Cooperation Group Co., Ltd.

“This MoU is more than a partnership; it’s a bridge between nations, uniting our strengths to power the future of EV education and TVET excellence,” said Mr. Sam Chang, Founder of ESnet Academy.

Through this collaboration, both institutions will strengthen student exchange opportunities, share academic expertise, and drive the development of cutting-edge EV training programs to meet the growing demands of the global automotive industry.

ESnet Academy believes that this cross-border partnership will play a pivotal role in nurturing future-ready talents and positioning Malaysia as a leader in EV technical education within the region.
